Champion promotion for contrast therapy

Master Spas has been forging a new Michael Phelps Chilly GOAT Cold Tubs partnership ahead of showcasing the cold water therapy technology as the title sponsor of the Masters Fitness Championship this month.

CrossFit athlete Justin Medeiros, pictured, who won the CrossFit Games in 2021 and 2022, is collaborating with the hot tub and swim spa manufacturing giant to help him incorporate the innovative Valaris contrast therapy system from the Michael Phelps Chilly GOAT Cold Tubs range into his recovery schedule.

The Valaris allows users to alternate between dedicated hot and cold water zones to enhance the recovery process from physical exercise; while also reducing inflammation, muscle soreness, and fatigue.

“I pride myself on working with good people and with companies I truly believe in,” divulged Justin; “Chilly GOAT checks both of those boxes for me, and I couldn’t be more excited.

“Cold therapy has been a huge part of my recovery routine for a while now but this will allow me to take my recovery game to the next level!”

The Valaris is being targeted by Masters Spas as the ideal accessory for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and wellness seekers who want an all-encompassing solution for enhancing their well-being. The hot tub section of the Valaris features two contoured seats and 16 hydrotherapy massage jets; while the adjacent cold tub side section has a built-in seat and armrests, along with two dual flow jets to disrupt the thermal barrier.

“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Justin Medeiros;” reported Master Spas President Kevin Richards; “He brings a level of determination and focus that we admire.

“The Valaris contrast therapy system is a perfect fit for someone who is striving to get the greatest results, whether it’s on the competition floor or at their local gym.”

The Masters Fitness Championship attracts 500 of the world’s top masters CrossFit athletes and will be hosted from September 27 to 29 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Athletes compete in a range of events that test their fitness and limits. By partnering with Chilly GOAT Cold Tubs, the organisers intend to enhance the recovery and overall event experience for all participants and spectators.

As the title sponsor, Chilly GOAT Cold Tubs will be a part of the athlete recovery zone for the competitors. Whether it is before or between events, athletes will be able to get into the Chilly GOAT and take advantage of the recovery benefits of cold water immersion.

“I am so excited that Chilly GOAT has come on board as the Title Sponsor for our upcoming Masters Fitness Championship CrossFit event!” said Masters Fitness Championship Director Jessica Ortiz.

“Their commitment to excellence and innovation perfectly aligns with our core values, and we’re excited to showcase their product to our audience.

“With Chilly GOAT’s support, we’re taking our event to the next level, providing an unforgettable experience for all involved!”

Kevin Richards added: “Chilly GOAT Cold Tubs is committed to elevating the recovery experience for all athletes. Together, we’re pushing boundaries, enhancing performance, and ensuring an unforgettable event for everyone involved.”
