Ticket deadline for 2025 celebration evening
Hot tub retailers are being invited by the British Swimming Pool Federation to be part of a night of industry celebration and achievement recognition before the deadline for booking limited seats expires.
The BSPF will be rolling out the red carpet for guests of the annual Wet Leisure Industry Gala Evening, being hosted on February 4, following the first day of SPATEX 2025 at the Coventry Building Society Arena. The highlight of the evening is set to be the 2025 British Pool & Hot Tub Awards, alongside the re-presentation of the ISPE Awards.
Awards include BISHTA and SPATA categories to honour outstanding achievements and innovation in the industry, showcasing the best of the wet leisure sector. BISHTA categories include ‘Showroom of the Year’, for which 1 Stop Spas gained a Gold Award during the 2024 ceremony; along with ‘Hot Tubs Change Lives’ and ‘Hot Tubs in a Holiday Setting’, for which Hydropool Devon gained a brace of Gold Awards last time round.
This year’s BISHTA ceremony also included Gold Awards for SpaFlow in the ‘Residential Hot Tubs £14,000 and Over’ and ‘Swim and Exercise Spas’ categories. This resulted in the Widnes-based company’s founder Richard Gowland pictured, left, celebrating success with BSPF, BISHTA and SPATA MD Chris Hayes, after being bestowed with a Silver Award in the ‘Domestic Hot Tubs’ category of the European Pool & Spa Awards presentation ceremony organised by the European Union of Swimming Pool and Spa Associations (EUSA) during Piscine Global in Lyon.
“This recognition is a testament to our team’s dedication to quality craftsmanship and passion for creating unique, relaxing spaces for our clients,” declared Richard.
“Being among Europe’s finest in such a competitive field motivates us to keep pushing the boundaries of excellence in the wet leisure industry. We proudly represent the UK and are thrilled to share this achievement with our talented team and valued clients.”
Hornchurch-based pool specialist and Endless Pools supplier Centurion Leisure, meanwhile gained a EUSA Bronze Award in the ‘Domestic Spas’ category after being crowned 2024 SPATA National Pool Contractor of the Year, following a bumper haul of SPATA Gold Awards and SPATA Silver Awards. Winners from the 2025 BISHTA and SPATA Awards will also gain the opportunity to be nominated for next year’s European Pool & Spa Awards.
Before the 2025 British Pool & Hot Tub Awards winners are revealed during the 2025 Gala Evening, attendees will enjoy an elegant champagne reception on arrival, followed by a delectable three-course meal. During the evening there will be live entertainment, along with a photo booth and party gifts.
“Guests will also have the unique opportunity to network with industry peers, making it the perfect blend of business and pleasure,” revealed BSPF, BISHTA and SPATA PR & Marketing Manager Sallie Leslie-Golding.
“The celebration will wrap up with lively music from the resident DJ, keeping the dance floor packed into the early hours. Seats are limited, so don’t miss out on this spectacular evening.”
The deadline is January 10 for booking tickets, which can be completed by contacting the BSPF team via email at: admin@bspf.org.uk or by calling 01264 356 210.
