Saratoga Spas dealership Exterea has been given a boost from Business Gateway to help build on current growth and provide the next level of operational expansion ahead of tenth anniversary celebrations next year
Established in 2016 on the west coast of Scotland by husband-and-wife team Sandy and Sharon Jarvie, Exterea promotes hot tubs from the Conquest Collection. Challenger Series, Contender Series, and Victory Series, along with specialist Holiday Park Series models for the thriving hot tub holiday market. Expansion initiatives are now in full flow after the couple received guidance from Business Gateway adviser Barbara Mennie.
Along with one-to-one business guidance and assistance with cashflow forecasting to outline the growth strategy for the business, Barbara has also provided the Inverkip-based company with advice on local authority grant funding and support with funding applications, which was instrumental in gaining funding from Inverclyde Council.
Building on over 25 years of experience in construction, Sandy and Sharon have adopted key principles of customer care that ensure high-quality products and services for a wide range of products. In addition to hot tubs, the couple supply Telluria Steel Garden Buildings, gazebos, summer houses, log cabins, garden sheds and wooden garages as part of their specialist outdoor products that are manufactured with top-quality materials..
To cater for the growing demand for people seeking multiple health and wellness benefits of sauna and cold water exposure, the business has also introduced a new mobile sauna product, with the theme of Concept Therapy.
Exterea is also looking to diversify by introducing more energy-efficient products which run off solar and deep source energy systems. Showroom expansion will include an increase in display models, while Sandy and Sharon are aiming to expand their geographic target audience by providing delivery services outside their traditional area.
