Basking in golden BISHTA hat-trick glory

Catalina Spas retailer Jane Veysey has been basking in the glory of landing her third successive BISHTA Gold Awards for Best Website and Best Showroom during the 2015 Awards presentation in Coventry.
Having helped All Swim to break its all time sales record in 2014, with the best performance stretching back throughout the family-run company’s 42 year history, Jane claimed her hat-trick of Best Showroom and Website Gold Awards during the presentation ceremony that was hosted for the second time at the Ricoh Arena, following the first day of SPATEX.
Jane, pictured, who is under the ‘Hot Profile’ spotlight in the current issue of Hot Tub Retailer magazine, was rewarded again for not resting on her laurels and making improvements to All Swim’s award-winning modern 5,000sq’ft headquarters at the Link Trade Park in Penarth Road, Cardiff, which she runs with her husband, Andrew.
Judges noted that All Swim ‘use enticing well laid out shop zones, crisp display areas and an uncluttered use of point of sale materials’. They also stated that the All Swim showroom provides ‘somewhere consumers feel at ease’.
High levels of professional retailing were also recognised during the SPATA Awards presentation ceremony with All Swim’s second successive Peter Geekie Award for Retail Excellence, which was sponsored this year by Caldera Spas distributor Certikin International.
“It’s unbelievable to have won the two BISHTA Best Website and Best Showroom awards again for the third consecutive year,” said Jane.
“Before we entered this year’s BISHTA awards we enhanced our showroom and so we proved to the judges that we are continuing to improve and we’ve not just rested on our laurels.”

Following the presentations BISHTA and SPATA Managing Director Chris Hayes highlighted that BISHTA represents over 100 specialist hot tub companies across the British Isles and SPATA represents in excess of 170 companies. He also reported that judges had faced a difficult task determining who would come out top in the award process.
“We congratulate all the winners of the BISHTA and SPATA Awards this year,” said Chris.
“As we set our standards high for both trade associations, the award winners keep coming up with even more fabulous entries!
“The outstanding quality of submissions this year has certainly created some stiff competition, making it a difficult job for the judges in determining who should receive what level of Award.
