Standards service continues for second year

SPATA has announced that wet leisure specialists can continue to stay updated on British and European Standards thanks to an extension decision that will allow members to gain access to a discounted official service.
Twelve months ago SPATA publicised the valuable service that its members were able to benefit from by being able to have access to 25 standards as part of British Standards Online (BSOL). Following positive feedback from members, the SPATA National Council has extended the BSOL service for a second year and is highlighting the availability of a member’s only deal on the annual package price for the standards.
“Due to the size and strength of the trade association, thanks to its members, SPATA can offer these European standards as an online package at a fabulous price of £75 plus VAT per year,” said SPATA PR Manager Sallie Leslie-Golding.
“Considering that most of the twenty-five standards that have been made available cost at least £100 each to buy, in paper or pdf format, this is a fantastic offer.”
Sallie also reported that members can still take advantage of the facility to purchase a discounted paper copy of most British and European standards, with a 20 per cent discount, via the SPATA office, if members would still find it useful to have a particular copy for office use.
“For companies that are not currently SPATA members, the SPATA office can provide a full list of the 25 standards available and details of how to become a member to take advantage of these great offers,” explained Sallie.
