Distributor scores with rugby champions
Hot tub and swim spa distributor Tony Welsby has converted his support of Wigan Warriors into a new partnership that is providing specialist hydrotherapy equipment for the famous rugby league club.
The Spa Crest Europe Managing Director and The Hot Tub Outlet chief has teamed up with the current Rugby Football League Champions to help players recover from training and matches with the restorative USA-manufactured qualities of new Spa Crest hot tub and ‘ice bath’ models.
As part of the The Hot Tub Outlet’s role as the official supplier of wet leisure equipment to the club a pair of Spa Crest Knight S1 models, with specially specified optional neck and shoulder jets, have touched down in a purpose-built therapy room. One of them functions as hot tub with warm water maintained at around 38°C, while the other has been specially modified to allow ice bath conditions, while still allowing the therapy jets to function as normal.
As a local Wigan man, Tony revealed he is naturally delighted with the new association with the Warriors and to be teaming up with an illustrious club he has followed his whole life, including the many years distributing and spearheading promotion of the Spa Crest range; as well as running the longest established hot tub showroom in the North West of England.
The thriving showroom at the JGB Investment Park in Goose Green is currently providing a wide choice of hot tubs and swim spas including Spa Crest’s flagship six-seater Vision Hydrus, which comes in at 234 x 305 x 99cm and is a 2016 WhatSpa? Best Buy Award-winner in the £12,000 Plus price category.
“To supply hot tubs into situations where their tangible therapeutic benefits are really exploited to the full is very rewarding anyway,” said Tony; “To be the official suppliers of wet leisure equipment to my local club, and absolute giants with such a glorious history in their sport, is on another level entirely.
“I can’t begin to tell you how pleased we are to have been chosen by Wigan Warriors, and we look forward to many years of being associated with them.”
Kris revealed that he is delighted with the new relationship with The Hot Tub Outlet, and the benefits that the two Spa Crest models will bring to the elite player conditioning regime at the club.
“The specification and installation of the new Spa Crest tubs at the club is an important benefit in the conditioning of our players,” said Kris; “Particularly in the rehabilitation process following injury, with a view to speeding up the recovery period so that a player is out of action for a shorter time.
“One of the spas gives us all the benefits of hot water hydrotherapy: heat, buoyancy and massage, while the second one gives us the benefits of ice bathing.”
When asked why he chose The Hot Tub Outlet for the supply and installation of such important pieces of hydrotherapy kit, Kris added: “The Hot Tub Outlet are the longest established specialist supplier of hot tubs in the north west, and it really shows when you talk with Tony.
“He knows his stuff inside out and was absolutely instrumental in guiding us to the right product at the right budget. Nothing was too much trouble.
“The products perform superbly and are perfect for our needs. The quality of them is excellent, as you would expect from such a high-profile and respected American manufactured brand.”
Tony and his Spa Crest Europe team will be available to discuss the dealer opportunities for the Spa Crest, Coastal, Vision, and Brand2Go ranges, plus the Tuff Spas range of rotomoulded hot tubs, including the six-seater Tuff Spas TS550 that is a 2016 WhatSpa? Best Buy Award-winner in the sub-£3,999 price bracket, and Premium Leisure swim spas at SPATEX 2017 running from Tuesday, January 31, to Thursday, February 2 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
