Expert tackling misconceptions at SPATEX
SPATEX seminar organisers have announced that a leading swimming ponds specialist will be tackling misconceptions and ignorance in and outside the wet leisure industry during the 21st anniversary edition of the exhibition.
Tim Evans, founder and current member of the British Association of Natural Swimming Ponds, has been invited to give an introduction to swimming ponds and natural swimming pools on Wednesday, February 1, during the second day of SPATEX as part of a new mid-week schedule, running from Tuesday, January 31, to Thursday, February 2, at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry
Delegates will then have the opportunity to fire questions at Tim in a planned ‘Q and A Session’’ following the talk. It is scheduled for a 12.30pm start and is expected to run until 1:45pm in Arena 2 of the Ericsson Exhibition Hall.
“There is a lot of ignorance, both inside and outside the wet leisure industry, and my talk aims to dispel some of the common misconceptions,” said Tim.
With less than two months to go before SPATEX 2017 opens its doors organiser Michele Bridle is busy promoting the 21st edition and believes the double seminar and workshop programme will provide valuable tips and advice for wet leisure specialists.
“It’s a great opportunity to update skill sets and receive CPD points and certificates of attendance,” said Michele.
Among the ever-growing list of hot tub product specialist exhibitors will be Aqua Spa Supplies, part of the Aqua Warehouse Group that distributes L.A Spas and Vita Spa hot tubs and swim spas; Certikin International, promoting its exclusive UK distributor status for the Caldera Spas brand; Coast Spas; Spa Crest Europe, with promotion of its Tuff Spas hot tubs and Premium Leisure swim spas distribution status; Superior Spas; and Wellis.
