Extended opening ahead of lockdown
Leading Sundance Spas hot tub retailer MySpa has announced that it will be extending its opening hours ahead of closing its showroom doors to prospective customers as part of the second national lockdown period.
The WhatSpa? Approved hot tub and swim spa specialist, which supplies its own MySpa Wellness Collection of hot tubs at two dedicated MySpa Leicester and MySpa Cheshire showroom locations, has made the decision after reporting that telephone lines have been extremely busy with enquiries from existing and prospective customers following the government’s second national Covid-19 pandemic lockdown announcement on Saturday; which means that non-essential retailing businesses must close until at least December 2.
Appointment only showroom visiting provision has now been extended at MySpa tonight, Tuesday, and tomorrow, Wednesday, from 10:30am to 7pm to provide the opportunity of pre-Christmas hot tub purchases following showroom viewings before reverting to other forms of communication strategies, which were utilised during the first Covid-19 pandemic national lockdown period in the spring.
With a relationship stretching over two decades with the Sundance Spas brand before the Covid-19 pandemic struck, MySpa has gained five-star rave review status on TrustPilot by offering a popular ‘try before you buy’ service in Leicester at one of the largest outdoor hot tub and garden building sites in the country, which spans three acres and combines at least 20 hot tub display models from multiple WhatSpa? Best Buy Award-winning brands including Marquis, with an extensive selection of garden buildings.
Andy, Peter and Laura Wroot, and the MySpa team, pictured, provide their customers with a wealth of hot tub experience, product knowledge, as well as industry-leading aftercare and finance packages that have earned the dealership rave reviews and WhatSpa? Approved status. This year the company has also launched a MySpa Cheshire dealership based in the heart of Macclesfield at Units 2 and 3, Old Mill Lane, to help promote the MyWellness Collection that includes the Spandau, which comes in at 200 x 200 x 82cm and incorporates five seats within its dual-lounger design.
Like those in other retailing sectors; such as toy chain the Entertainer, Currys PC World, and John Lewis; MySpa has acted quickly to adopt an opening hours extension policy to go the ‘extra mile’ for customers wanting to do any last-minute ‘in person’ hot tub and swim spa showroom shopping ahead of the second national lockdown regulations that will impact retailers supplying ‘non-essential goods’, which are due to come into effect at 00:01 GMT on Thursday, November 5, and last until at least December 2.
“We’re pleased to extend our opening hours this Tuesday and Wednesday by appointment only to allow anyone who wants to view our hot tubs in person to do so safely,” reported MySpa Managing Director Andrew Wroot.
To ensure staff safety, the family-run dealership has asked customers not to turn up at the site without an appointment and has assured new customers that hot tub deliveries and installations will continue with Covid-secure measures in place.
Once the new national lockdown commences this week MySpa will be providing video showroom appointments and additional digital support every day throughout this period, including website live chat, as well as operating its traditional telephone and email provision.
“This was very popular whilst we were closed during the spring and early summer,” divulged Andrew.
