Hot tub covers market growth

Analysis by leading global technology research and advisory company Technavio has revealed that the hot tub covers market size is set to grow by $93.2million from this year to 2028

Along with improved energy-efficiency, Technavio analysis has revealed that customisability is a key growth trend in this market, with manufacturers offering various sizes and colours to help dealers cater to diverse customer preferences. Technology is also playing a crucial role, with features like automatic covers and enhanced thermal insulation gaining popularity.

It has also been revealed in the Technavio analysis that consumers are seeking out covers that are easy to maintain and clean. Due to the competitive nature of the market, manufacturers are focusing on innovation and cost-effectiveness to stay ahead.

Aqua Warehouse Group (AWG) has got the automated issue covered in the UK with a range of products for hot tubs and swim spas. Essex-based AWG is the exclusive distributor of the automated Covana hot tub and swim spa technology within various options, including the Covana Oasis Midnight edition, pictured, for hot tub owners to gain a ‘wow factor’ result from their automated cover system purchase.

AWG, which has the largest hot tub and swim spa showroom in the South of England and is a Telluria Garden Buildings and Remanso Pergolas supplier as well as an authorised Bull dealership for the DuraBull Outdoor Kitchens. has also been promoting the ACS Cover system by Czech manufacturer USSPA for its swim spas. It automatically removes the cover and can hide it away in the floor and then electronically replace the cover when the swim spa session is completed at the touch of a button.

In addition, End2End roll covers for swim spas, which provide a single person with the convenient capability to roll them back within 60 seconds, are also being promoted by AWG’s Aqua Spa Supplies division.

Spa Solutions is another distributor that is now meeting the growing demand for automated swim spa covers in the UK with the ClearLift fully-retractable automatic cover system for Vortex Spas swim spas, which has been designed as an exclusive accessory of this brand.

Ahead of its launch in Australia last year and roll out in the UK this year by Spa Solutions, ClearLift was developed by Vortex Spas’ product designers and a team of New Zealand engineers to help meet consumer demand for making swim saps accessible with an affordable automated cover accessory.

Director of Product Development Adam Fisher reported that customers were informing them that the heavy covers were deterring them off from purchasing or using swim spas.

“They’re too heavy and awkward to shift,” declared Adam; “No one had come up with an affordable, commercially viable solution until now.”

Spa Solutions Managing Director Anthony Schneikert said: “This cover is a great boost for our retailer network.

“Prospective owners will know that they can quickly gain access to their swim spa without having to worry about how to get the cover off and where to store it.”
