Jacuzzi specialist joins golden SPATA wave

Jacuzzi specialist Tanby Pools joined the golden wave of Whitewaters to land a top trade accolade in the SPATA Awards of the 2021 British Pool & Hot Tub Awards ceremony hosted during SPATEX Virtual.
Tanby Pools has been renovating and refurbishing pools since 1966 and struck gold in the 2021 SPATA Awards in the ‘Refurbishment Pool of the Year’ category.
This latest project, pictured, to achieve a Gold accolade from SPATA follows on from the family-run company based at its Pool & Hot Tub Centre headquarters in Warlingham, Surrey, recently being bestowed with a prestigious European trade Bronze Award from the 2020 EUSA Awards in the ‘Domestic Pools by Night’ category to add to its Bronze Award in the Domestic Hot Tubs category of the 2019 edition of the European trade ceremony.
VIP Guest presenter during the SPATA Awards and BISHTA Awards presentations as part of the 2021 British Pool & Hot Tub Awards ceremony was Gold medal-winning Paralympian in archery and five-time World Champion Danielle Brown MBE who announced that the ‘Outstanding Pool of the Year’ Award winner was Whitewaters.
The North East-based pool, spa and swim spa specialist company that supplies and installs the dedicated Whitewaters W1 swim spa bespoke concept for lavish indoor installations and boasts it can provide customers with an ‘infinite’ number of options of features for this product. The company, which is building up to its 20th anniversary next year, also gained The Dick Millward Trophy for ‘Pool Contractor of the Year’ to add to a Gold Award in the ‘Inground Residential Spas and Wellness’ category and a trio of Gold Awards in the ‘Residential Indoor Pool’ categories.
During the SPATA presentation ceremony wet leisure product specialist Dan Johnson, who serves the thriving UK dealer network for Marquis, sent a ‘live’ message congratulating David Short from Asher Swimpool Centre for being bestowed with the 2021 ‘Paul Kite Award for Pool Star of the Year’ title and joining him as being one of an illustrious group of ‘Pool Stars’ winners.
SPATA’s Peter Geekie Award for ‘Retail Excellence’ was presented to Centurion Leisure, and Rockingham Swimming Pools received the ‘Sustainability Award’.
Before Whitewaters experience its golden wave of five top SPATA Awards, a ‘nap hand’ of BISHTA Bronze Awards was achieved by leading Sundance Spas dealership MySpa UK, which has recently launched a second MySpa Cheshire showroom. One of five Bronze accolades came in the ‘Showroom of the Year’ category that was won by fellow Jacuzzi and Sundance Spas dealer Outdoor Living for its showroom in Leeds.
The showroom Bronze was presented to the established MySpa Leicester showroom that also supplies a fledgling MySpa Wellness range of hot tubs, which includes the three-seater Kudam that incorporates a dual lounger design, and Jacuzzi models; as well promoting the Marquis ATV, and Tidal Fit options ofswim spas.
Fellow TidalFitswim spas dealership North Spas gained a quadruple golden boost for its Artesian Spas services after landing a trio of Gold Awards for its installations in multiple price categories to add to its ‘Best Use of Digital Media’ category Gold Award.
After the ceremony BISHTA and SPATA Managing Director Chris Hayes congratulated the winners and their commitment to providing high standards of customer service.
