Monster coming to SPATEX host venue

A monster is coming to SPATEX host venue Coventry Building Society Arena in the form of the world’s largest inflatable obstacle course.

Offering 300 metres of bouncy castle-style mayhem for all the family, along with evening sessions for adults, The Monster arrives to Coventry this summer after a successful tour of Canada last year and a stint at Miami Beach in the USA. It features more than 40 obstacles, including the 18-meter Mega Slide, the mind-blowing Exterminator and the terrifying House of Hell.

Proclaimed as the ultimate party playground, it will be housed in the Indoor Arena over the school holidays from August 1 to September 1 with the assault course opening from 10am to 10pm Thursdays to Sundays.

Daytime sessions will be run for children and organisers have reported that the evening sessions will deliver the perfect party atmosphere for corporate functions, birthday celebrations and parties when live DJs, wacky party games, street food and drinks will be thrown into the mix.

“We’re delighted to have been able to lure The Monster to our award-winning venue,” divulged Coventry Building Society Arena Managing Director Paul Michael.

“Given the locations it has previously appeared in, and its overwhelming popularity, bringing The Monster to Coventry really is a coup for us. We’re thrilled to be hosting it over the summer holidays.

“Throughout the day we’re expecting to welcome children and families, with adults joining us on the evening for the calendar of exciting events we have in store.”

Meanwhile, pre-booked guided tours of the 32,000-seater stadium, and the adjoining arena will take place at 10am and 12.30pm on July 27 and August 15, just days before Coventry City FC kick off their first home match of the new league season.

“These tours will offer football and music fans alike rare access to parts of the stadium that are usually off limits to the public,” revealed CBS Arena Catering and Experience Director Mark O’Shea

“Guests can stroll down the same corridors as popstars Harry Styles and Alex Turner did before their recent sold out shows here.”

SPATEX 2025 is scheduled to be hosted by the CBS Arena from February 4 to 6.  For more information or for exhibitor bookings details contact: helen@spatex.co.uk or telephone: +44 (0) 1264 358558.
