Taking plunge with portable cold tub

Master Spas gained a hot reception for its new Chilly Goat portable ice bath product from participants taking part in a Polar Plunge day.

Michael Phelps Chilly GOAT Cold Tubs by Master Spas was a proud sponsor of the Special Olympics Indiana Fort Wayne Polar Plunge, which is an annual event that supports Special Olympics Indiana athletes across the state.  This latest outing raised over $104,000, after bringing communities together in support of more than 19,000 Special Olympics Indiana athletes.

As part of the partnership, the Chilly GOAT team set up four inflatable Chilly GOAT GO! portable ice baths on the beach at Metea County Park, giving participants a chance to ‘Go Cold and Live Bold’ by experiencing the benefits of cold therapy, whether as a pre-plunge warmup, an alternative to jumping into the lake, or as a way to extend their cold exposure after the event.

The Chilly GOAT GO! has been specifically designed for those on the move thanks to an inflatable cold tub that ensures owners can enjoy the benefits of cold therapy wherever they choose. As part of the launch promotion, Master Spas has proclaimed that it is effortless to set up and pack down, and that the durable, high-quality tub is perfect for traveling, in home gyms, and apartments.

A durable inflatable construction incorporates a padded floor and an insulated lockable cover for extra security. It is suitable for all-weather performance with chiller-ready connections, and has been designed to be easily portable for on-the-go convenience with a backpack, a pump, insulated cover, and PVC Repair Kit.

In addition to sponsoring the event, members of the Chilly GOAT team took the plunge themselves to show their full support for the Special Olympics Indiana athletes. It was part of a statewide series of Polar Plunges, offering businesses, students, and the public a chance to take the plunge, or support those who did, to benefit Special Olympics Indiana.

“We’re all about pushing limits and embracing the cold, but what really matters is coming together for a great cause,” reported Master Spas President Kevin Richards.

“Supporting Special Olympics Indiana and the athletes who inspire us is an honour.”
