Turning design tide with touchscreen control
Spa Parts Vortex has turned the design tide for its Earth Spas options after the addition of the Kern River has become the first model in the hot tub range to feature touchscreen functionality.
Featuring Gecko controls, which include a new intuitive touchscreen master control and auxiliary keypad for user-friendly capability, the Kern River is inspired by its California namesake that is known for its powerful currents and incorporates one lounger and five additional seats within its spacious design. It comes in at 230cm x 230cm x 94cm and has been produced with an upgraded stainless-steel frame that has been introduced to the Earth Spas range.
As part of the launch promotion, Spa Parts Vortex is proclaiming that the Kern River is a ‘masterpiece in luxury and relaxation’ by combining style, performance, and superior comfort for a new spa experience standard. This experience is enhanced with 90 high performance jets, as well as four-foot blasters and four diverters. In addition, it has 85 well-positioned Pro-Wave therapy jets for deep tissue massage, along with three conveniently-placed diverter vales for users to select the pressure they desire.
Among the upgrades for the Earth Spas range, which includes the Kouri, Erebus, Erebus II, Uluru, Uluru II, Mariana, Glencoe, and Ha Long Bay, is a new cabinet that has been produced from Japanese imported material. Another addition to the product line, which has gained traction in the market after being showcased at SPATEX, is the fact that the skirt and cup holders have all been branded.
Prospective owners are also being enticed with the Eco-Smart ready option for the Eco Smart73 system that harnesses air source heat pump energy-efficiency to reduce consumption by up to 73 per cent. Colour options include a Pure White limited edition, among classic colours such as Sterling Silver, and Espresso.
The Kern River, which has a Weathershield Cover and colour-matching step, is currently available with limited stock and additional delivieries are expected within the first three months of the New Year.
“Our Earth Spas range has been undergoing a mid-lifecycle update over the past two years,” divulged Spa Parts Vortex Managing Director Darren Waters.
“During this time, we have upgraded to a stainless-steel frame, our spa cabinet has been upgraded with a unique material imported from Japan and our headrests, cup holders and skirt are now all branded. We’ve also increased our warranty, based on the confidence we have gained in our product over the past five years we have been trading.
“Our brand-new Kern River Spa, complete with the very latest updates, now completes our new look. This model boasts no less than four-foot blasters and four well-positioned diverters, for precision water therapy where you need it most.
“In addition, the Kern River is the very first spa in our lineup to incorporate touchscreen controls, with the added comfort of an auxiliary control conveniently located at the back of the spa.”
Spa Parts Vortex will be appearing at SPATEX 2025, hosted by the Coventry Building Society Arena, from February 4 to 6.
